How long are genital warts contagious after removal

Genital warts is one of common STD (sexually transmitted disease), caused by human papilloma virus (HPV). It is highly contagious. One person who has a sexual relationship with an infected partner will develop this disease too. It is not unusual for only partner in a relationship to have genital warts, but as a rule both partners will be infected.
The case seems to be that once you have been infected with venereal warts, the virus will stay in your body even though the physical warts have disappeared. For that reason, some people will experience a recurrence of genital warts even after remission. You can easily be infected with genital warts again though you have had them before and had treatment. The safest bet is to always use a condom which will protect both partners against genital warts.
